Pemodelan dan Estimasi Sumber daya Nikel Laterit Menggunakan Metode Nearest Neighbour Polygon (NNP)

Pemodelan sumberdaya merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam
estimasi kadar suatu endapan mineral. Kesesuaian model akan
menghasilkan estimasi yang akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
membuat model sumberdaya nikel laterit serta mengestimasi kadar dan
tonnase nikel laterit menggunakan pendekatan block model. Metode
estimasi menggunakan metode poligon contoh terdekat atau nearest
neighbour polygon (NNP). Data yang digunakan adalah data hasil
analisis laboratorium inti bor dari kegiatan eksplorasi. Data tersebut
terdiri dari koordinat lubang bor (easting, northing, elevation),
kedalaman lubang bor, interval kedalaman lubang bor (depth from-to),
kemiringan lubang bor, kadar Ni tiap interval. Jumlah lubang bor adalah
sebanyak 68 lubang bor dengan jarak rata-rata spasi lubang bor adalah
50 meter. Block model dibuat berdasarkan model sumberdaya dengan
ukuran perblok yaitu 12,5m×12.5m×1m. Hasil penelitian menunjukan
berdasarkan tren warna dan kadar bahwa estimasi kadar di sekitar data
mempunyai nilai kada yang serupa. Hal ini berdasarkan konsep estimasi
meode poligon contoh terdekat (NNP) diperoleh dari kadar contoh
terdekat. Total sumberdaya nikel yang dihasilkan menggunakan metode
NNP yaitu sebesar 7.785.585,94 ton.
