Perbedaan Kualitas Diet 1 Minggu Setelah Edukasi Diet Mediterania pada Pasein Penyakit Jantung

Penyakit jantung masih menjadi penyebab utama kematian di dunia, dan intervensi diet, seperti diet Mediterania, menunjukkan potensi signifikan dalam menurunkan angka mortalitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas edukasi diet menggunakan media poster dalam meningkatkan kualitas diet pada pasien penyakit jantung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan 50 responden di RSU Siaga Medika, terbagi dalam kelompok intervensi yang menerima edukasi melalui poster dan kelompok kontrol. Penilaian kualitas diet dilakukan menggunakan 24-hour recall diet, NutriSurvey, dan Healthy Eating Index (HEI). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kelompok penerima edukasi diet Mediterania mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam kualitas diet, dengan 68% pasien dalam kategori "Need Improvement" (p < 0.001), sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak menunjukkan perubahan signifikan (p = 0.484). Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa usia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas diet, di mana kelompok usia dewasa memiliki kualitas diet yang lebih baik dibandingkan kelompok lansia (p = 0.004). Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi gizi yang sederhana dan berbasis visual dapat diterapkan secara luas untuk mengubah perilaku makan dan meningkatkan hasil kesehatan pada pasien jantung. Hasil ini mendukung pentingnya penerapan intervensi edukasi gizi dalam praktik klinis untuk mempromosikan pola makan sehat di kalangan pasien dengan risiko penyakit kardiovaskular.
