Penguatan Ekonomi Desa Talekoi: Peluang dan Tantangan Sebagai Desa Penyangga IKN

Pengembangan sektor ekonomi di pedesaan memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan yang menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan, terutama bagi desa-desa dengan kekayaan sumber daya alam dan lokasi yang strategis. Dalam konteks pembangunan Ibu Kota Negara (IKN), desa-desa di sekitarnya memiliki peluang besar untuk berperan sebagai penyangga dalam mendukung dinamika ekonomi yang baru. Namun, masih ada tantangan yang dihadapi oleh wilayah penyangga IKN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi atau peluang ekonomi Desa Talekoi serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangannya sebagai desa penyangga IKN. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan metode wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen guna memperoleh gambaran yang lebih komprehensif. Temuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa sektor unggulan di Desa Talekoi meliputi perkebunan karet, budidaya petai, perikanan, serta industri kerajinan rotan. Meskipun demikian, berbagai kendala seperti infrastruktur terbatas, keterbatasan akses pemasaran, dan minimnya pendampingan usaha masih menjadi penghambat utama pertumbuhan ekonomi desa ini. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya perbaikan infrastruktur, peningkatan akses pasar, serta program pendampingan yang lebih intensif. Dengan strategi yang tepat, Desa Talekoi berpotensi berkembang menjadi desa penyangga yang mampu berkontribusi secara optimal dalam ekosistem ekonomi di sekitar IKN.
