Perancangan dan Analisis Pengering Kopi Mesin Fermentasi dengan Sistem Drum Berputar

Proses pascapanen kopi khususnya pengering mesin fermentasi sangat berpengaruh terhadap mutu akhir biji kopi. Pada praktiknya, proses tersebut masih banyak dilakukan secara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu lama dengan jalan menjemur pada panas matahari dan menghasilkan kualitas yang tidak seragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menganalisis mesin fermentasi dengan system pengering kopi tipe drum berputar, Analisa akan, meliputi perhitungan beban kerja, putaran drum, kebutuhan daya motor, ketebalan dinding drum, serta perancangan sistem transmisi berupa sabuk-V dan roda gigi. Metode yang digunakan adalah perancangan berbasis perhitungan mekanika teknik dan elemen mesin. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa mesin mampu bekerja sesuai kapasitas yang direncanakan, memiliki kekuatan struktur yang aman, serta sistem transmisi yang mampu mentransmisikan daya secara efektif. Mesin ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi proses fermentasi pada sistem pengeringan kopi serta menghasilkan kualitas produk yang lebih seragam dan lebih cepat.
