Antara Patriarki Budaya dan Partisipasi Gerejawi: Kepemimpinan Perempuan dalam Komunitas Katolik Manggarai

Kepemimpinan perempuan dalam komunitas Katolik berkembang dalam perjumpaan antara ekspektasi gender budaya dan ruang partisipasi gerejawi. Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana perempuan Katolik Manggarai menegosiasikan pola patriarkal melalui partisipasi dan praktik kepemimpinan di Paroki Santu Antonius Padua Mbeling, Keuskupan Ruteng. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap sepuluh narasumber, observasi kegiatan pastoral dan rapat Dewan Pastoral Paroki, serta studi dokumen, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekspektasi gender patriarkal masih memengaruhi konstruksi kepemimpinan, tetapi perempuan memiliki partisipasi pastoral yang tinggi dan menunjukkan kepemimpinan efektif terutama pada tingkat Komunitas Basis Gerejani dan stasi. Namun, keterwakilan formal, dinamika komunikasi, beban domestik, dan terbatasnya pembentukan kepemimpinan masih membatasi perluasan peran mereka. Penelitian ini mengusulkan konsep negosiasi budaya-gerejawi transformatif, dengan agensi gerejawi akar rumput sebagai proses ketika perempuan membangun legitimasi kepemimpinan melalui pelayanan komunitas menuju Gereja yang lebih partisipatif dan sinodal.
