DAS Ciliman merupakan sungai lintas kecamatan dengan panjang sungai utama ±120 km dan total panjang anak sungai sekitar ±163km, melintasi Kabupaten Lebak dan Kabupaten Pandeglang dengan hulu yang berhulu di Gunung Kendeng, Kabupaten Lebak. Luas Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Ciliman adalah ±502,82 km². Secara geografis, DAS Ciliman terletak antara 6°28'20.40" - 6°42'2.38" LS dan 105°47'42.30" - 106°12'40.94" BT.
Studi Kelayakan Teknis Pembangunan DAM Serbaguna DAS Ciliman dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui kelayakan teknis rencana pembangunan DAM Serbaguna di Kabupaten Pandeglang-Lebak. Ada 3 lokasi yang ditinjau dalam studi teknis dengan hasil yang paling layak adalah lokasi 3. Bentang bendungan di lokasi 3 adalah 236 m, dengan ketinggian 37 m dan reservoir 31,38 juta m3. Ketersediaan air selalu ada sepanjang tahun dan daya dukung pondasi baik. Manfaat yang didapat adalah penambahan areal pelayanan irigasi baru seluas 3000 Ha.
